Dingle Skellig Hotel

Just 200 metres from Dingle Bay, the Dingle Skellig Hotel and Peninsula Spa has 3 pools, a restaurant and gym. Spacious bedrooms have private bathrooms and satellite TV.

All rooms at the hotel are fitted with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with a hair dryer and a bath. Guest rooms will provide guests with a desk and a kettle.

The Coastguard Restaurant has stunning views of Dingle Bay and specialises in local seafood. Blaskets Bar also serves meals. The Gallarus Lounge and the Cocktail Bar provide a range of beers, wines and coffees.

Great hotel, staff and location... but old rooms need renovation

Lovely location 5 minutes walk from the centre of Dingle. Lovely views. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Given the price, the rooms are a bit tired, and the bathrooms are old and need renovation. Bath a bit slippery stepping in and out of it for the shower. Hotel had a new section but our room was in the old part.....

Very Good

Location is right on the water.

I booked a Deluxe King Room and when we checked walked into the room the first thing I saw was a giant Web on the ceiling over the bed. This put me off straight away because where there are webs there are . Also our room was located right on the road and our view was off cars parked right outside our window. This was very disappointing.

Best breakfast I've had in any hotel

2 things. 1) the people in the room beside us came back around 1.00am and spoke constantly until 4.30am. The talk could be clearly heard in our room. Walls must be like paper. 2) Please move the towel holder in the bathroom to the back wall. I kept hitting my head off it where it is currently located

Was not worth the money.

The view, the breakfast was good

The room was outdated and the bathroom particularly the tub walls were in very poor condition. There was a large wedding at the property so we could not enjoy the bar or outdoor dining. This was the second most expensive hotel of our trip, so we expected more. Location was not ideal.

A hotel with a wonderful view

The room was lovely. The Nespresso coffee machine was great to have in our room. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was great. Breakfast was brilliant.

The shower head needed a good clean. The bath needed a good clean. The carpet in our room needed replacing as it is SO worn out. In many ways, the property exceeded my expectations but was just let down by these 3 things.

It was nice but expensive for what it is.

The spa was very nice and the downstairs lounge areas are lovely. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The rooms are quite old fashioned. The double beds are very small. The carpets in the corridors and stairs are very worn and look dirty.

We enjoyed the view

We had the mountain view but most of it are the outside building rooftop... It's our wedding anniversary and my husband requests wasn't accomplished .. He asked for maybe a complimentary wine like most hotels do because each wedding anniversary he always request any special token .. But we were given small handmade chocolate , and bathrobe and slippers. Nothing special on that but we appreciate the gesture. We enjoyed breakfast and looked after plamen? I think that's his name anyways... He's so attentive and friendly And also the Manager Danny..

That our request for bottle of wine as complimentary as it's our wedding anniversary wasn't done at all. With the price we pay 150.00 for the night....I just thought it should cover bottle of wine into our room upon check in.

Nice hotel but highly over priced and over rated, stay in a nice b&b instead

Bed very comfortable to me, soft. Breakfast was great and accommodating with almond milk on request. Spa area is very nice and relaxing. Outdoor Jacuzzi was perfect.

The bar food is horrendous and outrageously overpriced. Shockingly actually, almost ruined the stay to start out with that dinner. The pizza was completely dry and for 17€. The burger was an average pub burger with one tiny piece of bacon. Honestly the worst food I've paid good money for in Ireland. The rooms are nice but completely average and far over priced. I don't know how they get away with the prices. Shocking tea and coffee facilities in the room. The kettle seemed to be 20 years old. Coffee sachets looked like they hadn't been touched in ages but had aged. For the price of the rooms a variety of read and/or coffee pods would be expected Also the bottles of water in the rooms are tiny, meanwhile the pub has large caraffes of great cold water, refillable for free. Would be a great service to just supply the rooms with these instead.

The breakfast was delicious and the views from the dining room were spectacular. The location on the water was perfect and we could walk into town for dinner. The pool facility was fun for the children and I appreciated that there was a laundry facility on site.

Breakfaast was excellent.

Breakfaast was excellent. location was excellent and within walking distance of Dingle town.

The foyer, the corridors and the room were very chilly on the first evening of our stay. I had to ask twice for the heating to be turned on in our room. We ate in the restaurant the same evening and found it very chilly. If I was not wearing so many layers, I would have found it unbearable. I did consider leaving within the first 30 minutes of our arrival at the hotel as the cold is the one thing I cannot bear. Things were much improved over the next two days and I noticed the foyer, corridors and breakfast room were heated. Heat is more important than food!

Nice hotel, surrounded by rolling green hills & water. Looks like an Ireland postcard

Scenery at this Hotel is beautiful, large picture windows look out over the bay of rolling green hills. We sat in the lounge on a rainy morning next to the fireplace & looked out at the view. Breakfast in the dining room was excellent & so was the staff, probably the best breakfast experience we have had in Ireland. The hotel was very close to town & the front desk staff is very eager to help you with your sight seeing plans. The room was clean, nicely decorated & comfortable.

We didn't like that we had to leave

Dingle Skelligs hotel

Staff friendly and efficient. Evening dinner was sublime. Good choice and perfectly cooked with lovely presentation. Extra vegetables offered if you wanted them. Great view from the dining room. Hotel has a new extension but I did not see in it so can't comment on it.

Room needed updating and was noisy due to its nearness to the gym. Hotel needs a second lift at the other end of the building. Cooked food at breakfast was lukewarm, despite being in heated serving containers and it would have been nice to have fried eggs as well as scrambled, since scrambled eggs tasted overcooked.

A 5 star amazing stay with fabulous staff on board.

From the moment of arrival the staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly and engaging. The room was beautiful with a fabulous sea view. Added to this was the birthday note and the thoughtful gift of the box of chocolates. This little gift really was lovely to receive. Thanks so much and we definitely will be back.

The whole stay was just amazing. There is nothing about this hotel to fault.
